As the Hirer, you are required to provide a valid Certificate of Currency for use of our vehicle in comprehensive Motor insurance, Public Liability/Third Party Damage insurance.
Our vehicles are permitted usage within a radius which includes Gympie, Coolangatta and Toowoomba. Additional charges per kilometre are applied beyond this. GPS trackers are used to verify usage beyond the permitted radius.
We will need copies of:
Your licence (Your licence must be valid and current. Australian licences only. We require C class for vehicles under 3t, and MR/HR class for heavy vehicles 4-12t.
A second identification document with a current address such as passport or rates document.
A valid credit card with an expiry date after the due check-in date.
No, our vehicles are not permitted to be taken off-road and must only be used on a road which is properly formed and constructed as a sealed, metal or gravel road.
Our fleet is not equipped for towing usage and we do not allow towing or hitching for the purposes of pulling.
Pets or animals are not permitted in any vehicle. A cleaning fee may be charged if it's deemed that a vehicle has been used to transport pets or animals.
Passengers are not permitted in our vehicles.
Additional charges will apply if you return the vehicle at a later date or time. Please contact us directly to check the cost and if this is possible.
Only those people whose names are recorded on the Rental Agreement may drive the vehicle. Additional driver are not permitted.
Trolleys and pallet jacks are available, subject to availability, please advise us if you require one, at an additional charge.
The first thing will be to call the local police authority and next, to call our office. The Police statement must be provided to our office. Your financial responsibility is determined at the time of report.
In the event of loss of vehicle keys, you will need our office. It could take between 24 and 48 hours for you to receive the new keys. Additional service charges will apply, as the loss of keys is not covered by our insurance and protections. Per key replacement, $200 payment is required.
The Deposit is $500 paid by the Hirer prior to commencement of hire for surety of return of the vehicle at the end of the Hire Term. The deposit is refunded by the owner on return of the vehicle in good order and as per the terms and conditions of this agreement.
